I recently discovered a taste for a drink that one of my friends introduced me to while we were on vacation. The only thing is that this particular drink comes from a recognizable coffee shop and as a coffee roasting small business owner - it was hard for me to put money down repeatedly on something so, well, commercial. Not that I am opposed to it every now and again.
To save money, and face as a roaster, I decided to tinker with a few recipes for the drink until I came up with one that I was satisfied with. Enjoy.
INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 C StirStix Coffee, brewed cold
- 3/4 C Crushed Ice
- Splash Caramel Syrup
- 1/3 C Heavy Cream
- 1/4 C Milk
- Dash Vanilla
- Pinch Salt
DIRECTIONS:
- Splash caramel syrup in a glass. Add ice and cold brew coffee. Add a splash of water if the coffee is too strong.
- In a tall glass container mix together heavy cream, milk, vanilla and salt until it becomes a thick consistency.
- Top iced coffee with cream.
- Enjoy!
